Day 3 of my Trial:
It is day 3 of my trial and I feel pretty good. I have a slight pain in neck and some small sores in my mouth. The mouth sores I get every so often around allergy season so I don’t know what is causing these. As far as my neck goes I have a permitted knot on my left side from work being on the phone all day. We just got headphones about a month ago and that has helped so I really can’t explain the neck pain. I do miss being able to take Advil for my arthritis they have me on Tylenol and they don’t work for me. My clinical trial RN is checking on this problem with the Mayo Clinic to see if I can go back on Advil. I do have to say if this will be my only problem I can live with it.
My next treatment is the day before Thanksgiving I sure hope I will be felling good for the Holiday, my Daughter is making dinner and I am looking forward to it.

I am so sorry you are going through all this…my story is kind of like your’s. Have had cancer 4 years—-4 recurences spreading….2 huge surgeries—3 chemo’s etc. Let’s keep fighting this devil together!
There are many of us that have had recurrent cancers yearly. Stick with us. We are here for you!
Sorry about your treatment scheduled right before Thanksgiving. I hope that it goes well and doesn’t interfere with your holiday time with your family.
You remain in my thoughts and prayers.
Hey Cheryl, hang in there. I know it’s tough road to haul. It’s a tough path we’re walking and sometimes it’s hard to get people close to you to understand what you’re going through, what you’re feeling. We’re here for you.
Keep thinking positive. And it’s okay to cry and feel down. All of us go through that and we deal with it the best way we can. Be good to yourself.
Surround yourself with things that cheer you up. My prayers are with you as always. Hugs…Grace
Hi Cheryl.
It has been a long time, I was just reading the Blogs and came to the one where you were telling me about your Mammosite treatment. I know that you did get Cancer in the other Breast. Do you feel that it still was the best treatment to do. If so would you become a Volunteer for Voices of Mammosite.
If so go to www.voicesofmammosite.com and sign up.
I am sure you would be a good volunteer. If you are already one, I better look a little closer.
