Immune Therapy Description and Side Effects - What Cancer Survivors said about their immune therapy treatment.


  • 6 months weekly Herceptin then 6 months every third week
  • Been getting a weekly shot of Procrit after radiation therapy was done to keep hemoglobin in the normal range.

  • I am told I will get a medication to boost my WBC's
  • I take NANO products called Humic Acid and Fulvic Acid along with Colostrum, SC Formula, CO-Q10, Anamu and Cynara. These supplements cause no side effects.
  • Injections of G-CSF 10 mcg/kg until my ANC recovered. No side effects that I remember.
  • June 21, 2006, and every following 3 weeks...through August 30, 2006...then November 8 & November 29, 2006 Injection of Neulesta Major bone and joint pain...and I just thought chemo did a number on me! Aranesp...only when my red count and platlets would get below normal. That wasn't often
  • Loved herceptin, no side effects!.......all done 12/20/04!!

  • Neopugen IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I hated those shots. I felt worse with them, then with out them.

  • Neulasta shots first day after chemo. Headache and bone aches lasting three days.

  • Started Rituxin Therpy May 28th 2008 had 4 treatments Alleric reaction with first treatment headaches with all also weezing a a hive on my ear the same side the IV is in
  • Starting Immune Therapy with Envita Medical Centers Nov. 08
  • to come, will be Herceptin for 1 year
  • Will be taking Herceptin for a year
